Developing a Comprehensive Drainage Solution

CS Plumbing crafted and implemented a gravity-fed French drain system explicitly designed to collect and redirect water before it could compromise the home’s foundation.

Key components of the project included:

A French drain system engineered to gather surface and subsurface water from adjoining properties, channeling it through gravity to a concrete pit.
A 100mm PVC pipe extending from the pit to the curb, featuring strategically drilled holes to facilitate efficient discharge.
Three new, larger-diameter Colorbond metal downpipes that replaced the original smaller pipes, connected to new 100mm PVC piping leading to the curb.
A retaining wall system erected along the boundary, using concrete sleepers and galvanised steel posts, with auger holes excavated to create a robust barrier to retain the adjacent yard.
Effective soil removal on-site, enhanced by a dumper for streamlined site management.
